Summer Competitive Swim Camp -- June and July

The Gold Medal Competitive Swim Camp at Georgia Tech will focus on developing and enhancing the training and racing skills of competitive swimmers ages 8-18.  Each day will consist of a technique progression covering each of the four competitive swimming strokes as well as filming work to help swimmers become faster and more efficient.  In addition, our camp will focus on the technical skills needed for starts and turns.  Each camper will be videotaped in all four strokes, above and below the surface of the water.

Campers will be grouped together by age and then by level after an assessment during the first session. Each group will be taught and practice skills appropriate for their ability and interest.  We provide a 10:1 coach to camper ratio (or better) in the water with coaches from the Georgia Tech swimming staff and great coaches from around the country.  All coaches are certified USA Swimming coaches, who have passed the safe sport background check as well as our own background check.

The Gold Medal Competitive Swim Camp is open to all campers ages 8 – 18, who have a competitive swimming background. These are not learn to swim camps. Swimmers must be able to swim 50 meters freestyle and backstroke unassisted.

Our camp is located at the Campus Recreation Center (CRC) at the Georgia Institute of Technology at 750 Ferst Drive.

Please park either at the pay lot "SR" across the street (Ferst Drive) from the front of the CRC or you can drop swimmers off at the front of the building. Please enter the CRC and walk to the Aquatic Center.

A staff member will be inside the entrance to the concourse to greet your swimmer and direct them to the table for check in. If you miss the staff member,  walk down the concourse of the pool. You will see a check in table. Please check in at the table before heading into the McAuley Aquatic stands.  Parents may remain in the upper stands of the aquatic center. Swimmers will walk down to the lower stands.
