Summer Competitive Swim Camp -- TBD

The Gold Medal Competitive Swim Camp at Georgia Tech will focus on developing and enhancing the training and racing skills of competitive swimmers ages 8-18. There will be four 2-hour in water sessions.  Each session will consist of a technique progression covering each of the four competitive swimming strokes as well as filming work to help swimmers become faster and more efficient.  In addition, our camp will focus on the technical skills needed for starts and turns.  Each camper will be videotaped in all four strokes, above and below the surface of the water.

Campers will learn from the best coaches in the region and have dry sessions on strength, conditioning, nutrition, college life, and Olympic Team experiences.

Campers will be grouped together by age and then by level after an assessment during the first session. Each group will be taught and practice skills appropriate for their ability and interest.  We provide a 10:1 coach to camper ratio (or better) in the water with coaches from the Georgia Tech swimming staff and great coaches from around the country.  All coaches are certified USA Swimming coaches, who have passed the safe sport background check as well as our own background check.

Commuter Camp begins on the Morning of June 23rd with check in starting at 8:30 am at the Campus Recreation Center.

Overnight Camp begins on Thursday evening with check-in at the dorm between 5pm and 6 pm

The Gold Medal Competitive Swim Camp is open to all campers ages 8 – 18, who have a competitive swimming background. These are not learn to swim camps. Swimmers must be able to swim 50 meters freestyle and backstroke unassisted.

* If your swimmer has food allergies, please connect with us before registering.
